Compound clips allow you to merge multiple clips on a timeline into a single clip. When your timeline contains many sequences, you can create compound clips for some of them, making the timeline clearer and more concise.
Step 1: Launch Edimakor and Click on "New Project"
Step 2: Import Files to Edit and Add Elements
Freely edit your videos by adding clips according to your preferences, such as music, filters, text, etc.
Step 3: Select Clips to Create Compound Clips
Select one or more clips on the main timeline, then right-click to bring up the menu bar and click on "Create Compound Clip".
You will then see the composite fragment created.
Step 4: Return to the timeline to view
To locate and redite the compound clip, select it first.
Then, double clicking on it in the main timeline will take you to the editing panel. To return to the full video, simply click the "Compound Clip" button below the preview window.
Step 5: Save or Export Compound Clip
Select the compound clip and click on "Export Clip" icon to export it.
The steps are very simple to follow. Composite fragments can be nested up to 3 levels, making your timeline more concise and clearer. Give it a try!
