Mastering Edimakor Text Editing: Create Stunning Video Captions & Titles

Step 1: Install Edimakor Video Editor

Before you can start designing, you need to set up your creative studio. Hit the donwload button below to install and open the software. Then, click on New Project and Import your video file by clicking the "Import" button or dragging it directly into the media library.

Step 2: Add Captions Automatically or Manually

Edimakor offers flexible ways to get words onto your screen. After adding subtitles on the timeline，you will see an input box in the property panel. Simply type your desired content here and choose a one-click "Word Art" preset styles for an instant effect. The preview window will update in real-time, showing exactly how your words fit within the frame. Here the ways to caption your videos:

• Way 1 (Manual): Go to the Text tab and drag a "Default Text" or a stylized template directly onto the timeline above your video.

• Way 2 (Speech-to-Text): Use the Auto Subtitles feature to let AI transcribe your audio into perfectly timed captions automatically.

Step 3: Adjust the Text Settings

Refine the core look of your typography to match your video's vibe:

• Font Selection: A library of fonts ranging from professional sans-serifs to decorative scripts.

• Font Size: Precise control via a slider or numerical input.

• Font Style: Options for Bold, Italic, Underline, and Strikethrough.

• Case Control: Quick toggles for UPPERCASE, lowercase, or Title Case.

• Alignment: Left, center, right, and justified.

• Text Direction: Support for both horizontal and vertical text layouts.



• Color & Border: Select a vibrant text color and add a Border (Stroke) to make the text pop against busy backgrounds.

• Color Picker: Support for hex codes, RGB, and eyedropper tools to match brand colors.

Step 4: Text Background

If your text is hard to read, adding a background is the perfect solution.

• Fill Style: Choose between full background or only text overlays.

• Background Color: Select or extract a color from the screen to fill bacground.



• Shape: Use the Rounded Rectangle option to give your text boxes a modern, soft-edged look that feels professional and clean.

Step 5: Text Shadow

Add depth to your titles by enabling the Shadow feature. You can adjust the blur, distance, and angle of the shadow to create a subtle lift or a dramatic 3D effect, ensuring your text doesn't look "flat" on the screen.

Step 6：Text Scale, Position, Rotate And Opacity

For total control over the layout, use the transformation sliders:

• Scale & Rotate: Easily change the size or tilt the text for a dynamic look.

• Position: Change X and Y coordinates by entering numbers or simply dragging the text in the preview window.

• Opacity: Slide the bar to make your text bold or turn it into a subtle watermark by lowering the transparency.

Step 7: Export or Share the Video

Once your text looks perfect, click the Export button in the top-right corner. Select your preferred resolution (up to 4K) and format. You can save the file to your computer or share it directly to social media platforms.
